The goal of McDowell County Department of Social Services is to help citizen's maintain or enhance their lifestyle.

 Clients may look at the following list, find their worker's extension number, and call (828) 652-3355. When the operator answers, ask to speak to the appropriate worker. If your worker does not answer, please leave them a voice mail with your name, number, birthday, and the reason why you are calling. Your worker should get back in contact with you within 24 hours and if they do not then please try calling again.

Note: The letters located beside the worker's extension represent the clients last name that the worker is in charge of.
